Thirteen Reasons Why
 By: Jay Asher
I’m certainly excited to start reading this novel. The way everyone describes it puts me to interest. I sure hope to take it at a different point than what I did when I read Liar. I started seeing myself not wanting to read more. I wanted to give up. Hopefully that is not the case with Thirteen Reasons Why.  Even though I’m not the biggest fan of reading, if I would find a book that would interest me I will sit there and read the book forever. I hope to keep more of an open mind with this book. Allow myself to see it in a different perspective. Looking at the cover and such, it seems to me that it fits a teenager’s lifestyle. I don’t recall the book being based off a true story but it seems that it could be a better story than what I read.  I do like to read in my bed at where there is nobody around with music on. They say that’s not the best of idea but it keeps peace and helps me concentrate on what I will be reading. I have tried reading elsewhere but I will get distracted quite easy. The libraries are too quiet and if there are people around, then that’s what I want to focus on. I may still be reading but not understanding what I’m reading. So that is why I read in my room with music so I can understand more.

3/2

Liar
Now that I keep reading the book, I am beginning to like the text more and more. I am able to sit down and actually enjoy reading it. I do not have to necessary force myself to read the book. I feel that part 2 and part 3 are getting the full details out and are more interesting than what part one was. It seems that Micah is starting to “fit” in. Now that Erin is back and is the talk of the world, nobody wants to talk about Micah. She is able to get closer and closer to both Sarah and Tayshawn. Although, it seems that Micah wants to become more than just friends with either one of them. She gets a little jealous when Tayshawn is closer to Sarah than he is herself. However, I believe that since they had all left the funeral and talked it has brought Micah to open up to either one of them.
My predictions for the rest of the book have changed. I think that Micah will come clean about her being a werewolf. Eventually, I think she and either Tayshawn or Sarah will become more than just friends. If that is the case, then she would be a complete change from the beginning to the end. I do not think that it would be a bad thing if she and Tayshawn grew closer because she was always saying that she thought Tayshawn was good looking. If she comes clean, I feel that everyone will have more respect for her.
