The Lost Boy have impacted me in many different ways. Dave Pezler writes autobiographies to explain his childhood. He had no love, no home, nothing. I had a home, I knew they loved me. I cannot say I had a bad childhood but I believe that it could have been a lot different and better. Honestly, I didn't feel the love. There are three of us kids, and me being the middle child I felt outside. My older sister got everything she ever wanted and my little brother is the same way. I have worked for everything that I got. I do not feel that I fit in at times. Nobody could ever see it. Yes, my parents are very good parents, but I just do not believe in a lot of their choices. Although Dave's life was completely different, I feel that he is making his life better because of everything he had to go through throughout his entire life. Usually what you go through in your childhood, you act that same way later in life. Dave is completely different. He wants to better himself. Dave travels to promote inspiration and such. Inspiration to people helps them look at the things differently.
The way Dave writes is probably why i like his books. He describes in great detail. No matter how intense the situation may be, he can still describe it in full. It's not fake at all. It's completely real and true. It's just amazing how he can actually write about his own life and not put any doubts about it. Seeing how well he has done throughout the years makes me think that no matter who you are, you are able to do whatever you want to do. Just do not hold back.
I can't imagine having suffered his childhood and then having the courage to relive it in such detail. His survival is inspirational.
