Liar
By: Justine Larbalestier
When Micah’s boyfriend Zachary Ruben is not in school, and has not been to school for a few days, Micah becomes worried. What possibly could have happened to him because she was just with him over the weekend. After their high school principle comes into the classroom to explain that Zach had been reported missing. Micah feels differently. Micah used to lie, but she was done with all of the lying. The death of her boyfriend is changing her into a different girl. Will it all be for the better or be for the worst. I think Micah will realize that she has done wrong in the past and everything will eventually come out of it all to catch her up in some trouble. Maybe to begin with, she should have always been honest about everything she said. Micah may not have been happy with herself, and if that is the case then she should have seeked some sort of help to her get over that fact. If that is not the case, then I don’t understand exactly why she wants to lie about everything. She would lie about her childhood, her parents, and so much more. In the long run, will the lying be worth everything?
The author has the title as being Liar. This is all a sequence to the main character in the book. All she has ever done is lied. Lie about this; lie about that and so on. Everyone knows that she is such a liar.
When you finish the novel, I want to talk to you about your question: Will the lying be worth it?
